Our flight this morning was with Dennis and his niece, Emily
Jim Gunhus lifts off in Yellow Bird to begin our morning's competition.
This was an NBC Club flight from Fremont. Here's a view from Propane Addiction as we inflate.
A view from the ground. Just as we stood up, a little gust of wind got the balloons dancing.
Into the morning sky we go.
Spring planting has begun, so landing sites are chosen with care.
Carefully picking our way over a freshly-planted field, we aim for the road.
Road landings mean sometimes sharing with others.
We raise our glasses in a toast to Dennis and Emily, our newest aeronauts!
