Kim and Ed's children gave them a 25th anniversary present - a balloon ride!
Ready to lift off on a beautiful June evening.
We slo-o-o-wly rise into the summer sky.
There was very little wind this evening; we hung out around the lake for quite a while.
Finally, a little breeze carried us off to the southeast, away from Chalco Hills.
Steve flew in from his neighborhood a mile to the north to say "hi."
We played in the gentle breezes around the treelines, drifting like a big bubble.
Time for some tailgate champagne with our landowner, Mr. Lutz, to say "thank you!"
We raise our glasses in celebration and toast to the new aeronauts, Kim and Ed.
Soft landings, and best wishes for another 25 years!
